As COVID-19 spread in the early part of 2020 and was officially classified a pandemic, Patagonia, without hesitation, took additional safety measures to protect their employees and customers.
They closed stores, offices and other operations as early as mid-March (when some political leaders where claiming it was not as bad as the flu). Employees who could work from home did so and all Patagonia employees received their regular pay during the closure.
